If you are dissatisfied with the quality of printed documents, including color photos, do not despair. Printers often produce faded, striped, fuzzy, blurred and smeared text and images. Sometimes the black ink or color ink is not printed. If you experience any of these print quality problems, head on over to the HP Support page. Enter your HP printer model number, and use the search page to find the appropriate document in relation to the correction of print quality problems.
You can also perform a diagnostics test by following these steps:
- Begin by double clicking the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool.
- Click “Printer”.
- Select “Printer Services” from the drop-down menu.
- You’ll be presented with a series of icons for various tasks. Choose to print a quality diagnostics page.
- The print quality diagnostic page will help you, all kinds of print quality aspects of streaks and dashed lines to evaluate faded and missing colors.If the color blocks show missing or faded colors and/or white lines on the print quality Diagnostic Page, choose to clean the print head. Print heads are clogged unheard of, they have several times to clean completely restore the regular print quality.
